Forums:

there seems to be something wrong with my entry "Hopf bundle"

there's a link to a non-existent parent object and one of the cross references is not linking properly.

## Re: "Hopf bundle" problems (fixed)

Well, the "resolution" of the linking engine has been increased, so if classifications differ at the YY level in XXAYY, then the links can be properly steered.

I'm also going to be implementing more category-based link steering controls soon. I'm not quite sure what the details will be, but you will be able to do things like restrict the linking of certain terms you define to ONLY the MSC categories you list, or forbid linking to some set of MSC categories, etc.

## Re: "Hopf bundle" problems (fixed)

perhaps I should. the problem is that there are a lot of different long exact sequences in topology, and since their subject classifications would be so similar, the linking engine might have problems distinguishing them.

There is the same problem with "\v{C}uhinin's Theorem". It seems that \PMlinkname doesn't work properly.

## Re: "Hopf bundle" problems

I'll check this out... for future reference, please use Bugzilla for bug reports ("Bug reports" in the main menu).

## Re: "Hopf bundle" problems (fixed)

Ok, the problems are fixed now.

Just out of curiosity, why don't you simply synonym "long exact sequence " to your "long exact sequence (locally trivial bundle)" entry? Typically it is proper to synonymize the general terms of a title that has parenthesized specific terms... maybe it wouldn't be in this case?
