Anyone know the purpose of this phrase? I found it in Weibel
and cannot find it in the Merriam-Webster online dictionary.
I image it is latin for something like theorem (from the context.)

In portuguese it means a statement that can be easily proved or a problem that can be easily solved.. something like that.

No, it is Greek for "corollary".
