## Question

An entry that does many of the following things:

* Discusses the history of abstract algebra. * Discusses group theory, ring theory, field theory, and the interplay between them. * Describes some of the most significant results due to the use of abstract algebra. (Compass and straightedge constructions comes to mind.) * Indexes entries which are closely related to abstract algebra. The definitions of group, ring, and field ought to appear in such an index. Other entries that are mentioned within the abstract algebra entry (such as if they are mentioned as a significant result) should appear in the index as well.
